July
- Wednesday, July 1 st - Registration for Black Bag Book Talk
Registration begins today for “Life As We Knew It”. Return on Wednesday, August 5 th with a packed snack, ready to answer trivia questions about what you’ve read.
- Tuesday, July 7 th – DDR & WiiFun
6-7:00 p.m. Registration is required. More dates and fun to follow!
- Wednesday, July 8 th – Black Bag Book Talk
4-5:00 p.m. Registration is necessary. Space and supplies are limited. Receive a free copy of “Captain America: The Death of Captain America Volume 1” and return today with a packed snack, ready to answer trivia questions about what you’ve read.
- Thursday, July 9 th - TSL
4-5:00 p.m. Don’t like what the library has to offer? Take charge of your library. Choose what books, manga and magazines we should carry. Get involved!
- Saturday, July 11 th – Henna Party & Threading
11-12:30 p.m. Learn about the ancient art of henna. Practice on yourself and friends. Go home with a work of art. Learn about the ancient practice of threading. Now more popular and expensive at malls; this practice started in ancient Persia and is offered for free. Remember: Henna and threading are all natural and results vary. Parent’s permission and registration is required.
- Monday, July 13 th – Nail Art Party
1-3:00 p.m. Special guest Dee Dee from “Second Glance Hair Design”. Learn techniques that the professionals know and go home with a set of beautiful nails. Registration is required.
- Tuesday, July 14 th – Water Balloon Blast
4-5:00 p.m. In this game of skill, try not to drop your balloon or you might get soaked. Proper attire and registration is required.
- Tuesday, July 14 th - Video Game Club
12-2 p.m. Registration is required.
- Wednesday, July 15 th – Teen Movie Night
6-8:30 p.m. Enjoy “Yes Man” on the big screen with snacks and air conditioning. Registration is required.
- Saturday, July 18 th – Project Duct Tape
11-12:00 p.m. Create your own wallet, purse, belt or guitar strap out of duct tape. So popular, fashion designers use it. Registration is required.
- Monday, July 20 th – Fear Factor
5-8:00 p.m. Be a contestant or watch your friends compete for prizes. Only the strongest stomachs will survive. Items are found in markets around the world. New and exciting additions to this year’s menu. Learn about other cultures. Parent permission and registration is required.
- Tuesday, July 21 st - Video Game Club
12-2 p.m. Registration is required.
- Wednesday, July 22 nd – Boys vs. Girls Mariokart Tournament
5:45pm – 8pm Take on your brother or sister! Registration Required. Ages 9 and up.
- Thursday, July 23 rd - TSL

- Friday, July 24 th – Sidewalk Graffiti
4-5:00 p.m. Make your mark on our large sidewalk. Create something beautiful. Express yourself! It’s a blank canvas. Registration is required.
- Tuesday, July 28 th - Video Game Club
12-2 p.m. Registration is required.
- Tuesday, July 28 th – Teen Improv
4-5:45 p.m. Have fun acting with your friends. Registration is required.
- Wednesday, July 29 th – Pinata Party
6-8:30 p.m. Express yourself and make a piñata. It’s gooey. It’s messy. It’s fun! Fill it with candy and smash it to bits. Space is limited and registration is required.

August
- Saturday, August 1 st – Funky Flowers
11-12:30 p.m. Registration is required. Make huge tissue paper flowers and a vase to keep or give away.
- Tuesday, August 4 th - Video Game Club
12-2 p.m. Registration is required.
- Tuesday, August 4 th- Salsa Dance
6-8:30 p.m. Do you want to learn to salsa dance? Learn from a professional. Dance with Star from “Swing Kat Entertainment”. Star, who was a featured dancer at Cuba Libre Restaurant in Philadelphia is going to be hosting this Latin party! Space is limited and registration is required.

1-3:00 p.m. Ever want to learn how to write your own story? Come to this amazing workshop where you will have fun creating your own story to keep forever. Registration is required.

Teen Party - TBD
Those who participated in the summer reading program will be eligible to attend this party, complete with bounce castle, pizza and music. Watch for details!
