The Pottstown Regional Public Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit receiving public funds from the State of Pennsylvania, the Borough of Pottstown, Lower Pottsgrove Township, Upper Pottsgrove Township, and West Pottsgrove Township. The Pottstown Regional Public Library sends out an annual appeal letter in the fall to a limited number of supporters. Adopt-a-Book and honor someone special and help to build the Pottstown Regional Public Library's collection. Your tax-deductible donation will be used to purchase items for the library. You may choose to dedicate items to the memory of, or in the honor of someone special to you. A dedicated book makes a great present on birthdays, holidays, anniversaries,or retirements. A bookplate will be placed in each item with the name of the donor and/or the honoree. If you are a member of a club or organization, adopting a book could be a group project, perhaps continuing from month-to-month or year-to-year.
State and local government need to know that library services are important to you. Please let them know that you value their support of the Pottstown Regional Public Library. Right now is a good time to contact your state representatives. The 2014-2015 state budget is being developed now. Please add your voice to the conversation.

Volunteers may find many ways to help the library, from keeping shelves orderly, to fundraising, to entering information into databases. If you are interested in giving some time to the library, please complete the Volunteer Application Form and forward it to the library.
The Board of Trustees consists of volunteers from the community. Terms of office are one year. Board meetings are scheduled the second Wednesday morning of each month. If you are interested in becoming a Library Trustee, please contact the Library Director.
Make a lasting gift to support the library's mission to meet the
educational, informational, and recreational needs of the community.
Bequests can be made in the form of cash or property, or a percentage of
the remainder of an estate.
The following language is one way to make bequests to the Pottstown Regional Public Library:
I hereby give, devise and bequeath to the Trustees of the Pottstown Regional Public Library, a nonprofit corporation, organized and operating under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the sum of [$___ OR the rest, residue and remainder of my estate] to be used for the general purposes of the Pottstown Regional Public Library or for [a particular program of your choosing].
