Community Outreach
If your school, preschool, or daycare is interested in having the library come visit, call us at 610.970.6551 or stop by the Children's Department.
We currently serve over twenty local sites including The Pottstown School District 21st Century After-School Program.


For a great resource and a fun learning tool for kids of all ages we have high-speed Internet computers.


Storytime, for your child's early literacy experience needs. See programs for age groups, days, and times.

Policies

The Children's Section offers books, tapes, videos and CDs. We hope you will enjoy reading and listening to many stories. The amount of items that you can check out is not limited in number, only in the kinds of materials you select. Let the following be your guide:

  • 3 book limit on your first check-out
  • 2 books by the same author
  • 2 books on the same subject
  • 2 books from the same series
  • 4 videos
  • 2 books-on-tape or CDs
  • 2 biographies on the same person
  • 1 encyclopedia

All materials can be borrowed for three weeks with the exception of our videos. Videos can go out for $1.00 for seven days. Late fees for videos are $1.00 per day.
